"Cities have the capability of providing something for everybody, only because, and only when, they are created by everybody"
Jane Jacobs (1916 - 2006)
Spaces & Society is a hub for rethinking the human environment through urbanism and regional science. In this website, I look to create a space for sharing ideas about cities, human relations and the logic behind aglomerations and regional growth. In the long run, I look to offer a comprensive list of opinion articles about key tenants of urbanism; as well as reviewing the latest academic literature and producing research involving spatial modelling and visual representation of urban data.

As an economist, my work focuses on understanding how the spatial transformations of the 21st century—from accelerated urbanization to the reorganization of rural and digital territories—are reshaping economic structures, social dynamics, and political institutions. I am particularly interested in how these processes intersect with urban planning, architecture, and public policy. I hold the conviction that spatial change today is not only cultural in nature, but also fundamentally alters the organization of development, access to opportunity, and the configuration of the public realm. I aim to contribute to the analysis and documentation of these shifts with analytical rigor and an interdisciplinary perspective.
